No, the God El in Elism is unrelated to the Semitic El.

Yes, we are LGBTQ-friendly. We believe that gay and trans people are naturally the way they are due to retaining dispositions and identities from past lives. However, there are some limitations for LGBTQ people in the Temple of El which will be discussed in future videos and articles. The bottom line, is that we do not persecute or exclude LGBTQ people from Elism nor participation in the Temple of El in general.

They return along the same familiar pathways, the paternal and maternal family lines. It is very common to carry ancestral memories or traits through different lives. They cannot choose which particular individuals to return through, and can only return through familiar routes (bloodlines) they have traveled before. Multiracial/multiethnic individuals have more complicated pathways and can carry contradictory traits and ancestral memories. A Nigritian-American may carry the hatred of Nigritians from a previous white ancestor and also the abolitionist fervor of another white ancestor, in addition to the anger of an enslaved ancestor. People usually return as the same sex from previous lives, but it is not uncommon for them to return as the opposite sex. This fact is why LGBTQ people exist, and it is fairly common and stable throughout human history.
